Need for Speed The Run Time Attack Community Challenge – Tioga Run

The third week of the Need for Speed The Run Time Attack communiy challenge has begun!
This is a weekly challenge where EA puts the community’s driving skills to the test by challenging everyone to beat their times in a Challenge Series event. For the third week they’ve got a real technical track for you to conquor. NFSDrew put down a time of 2:56:21 in the Tioga Run event in the National Park Challenge Series.
Here’s how to enter this challenge:
1. Beat NFSDrew’s time in the same Challenge Series event
2. Grab a picture of your race time on the post-race screen
3. Twitpic it to @NeedForSpeed with the hashtag #NFSTheRunTimeAttack.
(They’ll also take video entries; just be sure to submit your video as a response to their Time Attack video on YouTube.)
At the end of the week they’ll randomly draw from the pool of all entries one lucky winner who will receive a very cool prize from the Need for Speed swag cabinet!
A couple of rules you need to be aware of:
– There are no regional restrictions for this challenge. Anybody anywhere in the world can enter!
– This competition is open to all platforms.
– You can use any car available in the Challenge Series event
– Your twitpic and/or video must clearly display your race time. If they can’t read it, it won’t be considered a valid entry
– If you do choose to submit via YouTube video, it must be submitted as a response to their video
– Use of cheat programs or trainers is prohibited
– A player can only win one week in a row

EA has got a brand new community contest for everyone to flex those racing muscles! Introducing the Need for Speed The Run Time Attack community contest!
This is a new weekly competition where EA challenges the community to beat their times in one Challenge Series event. For their first week they’re going to start it off with an easy one. NFSDrew laid a time of 2:04:97 (Silver medal only) in the “What a Rush!” event in the Coastal Rush Challenge Series.
To enter into this contest you need to first beat NFSDrew’s time in the same Challenge Series event. Need for Speed VIP Rewards
With the launch of Need for Speed The Run, EA wants to make sure we reward our loyal fans who have purchased previous versions of Need for Speed, or downloaded The Run demo.
Previous Need for Speed titles would have similar VIP unlocks and The Run is no different!
If you downloaded the demo, you get the Need for Speed Edition BMW 1M Coupe as a reward for purchasing the full game.
For Hot Pursuit players, you’ll get the Team Need for Speed BMW Z4 GT3 and instant access to a Hot Pursuit profile icon.
Need for Speed World and SHIFT 2 UNLEASHED gamers will also get the Team Need for Speed BMW Z4 GT3! The SHIFT 2 UNLEASHED players will also get a profile icon as well.
To unlock these VIP rewards, make sure your EA account is the same on all games, then go to “EXTRAS” from the Main Menu in The Run and select “VERIFY NEED FOR SPEED VIP STATUS.”
That’s it! Your rewards will download automatically!

NFS The Run: Game With Developers!
With only a few more days till Need For Speed The Run is launched, EA is to announce that they will be hosting a Game with Dev Session! On November 18th, from 2pm-4pm PST, you can jump in and play online on both Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, with at least 10 of the Developers from Black Box, the creators of Need For Speed The Run.
EA will be posting the Dev’s Gamertags and PSN IDs on November 17th, but get your calendar cleared now, because these guys are ready to Race For Their Lives!
